Intronix LA1034 LogicPort

Have any of you used the Intronix LA1034 LogicPort logic analyzer? I’m needing something which will let me see RS232, I2C, and possibly SPI data for reverse engineering purposes. (I also want to write new firmware for the Honda Music Link…)

At $349 it’s not especially pricy, and it looks like a good alternative to the USBee.

    Yup, I’ve got one.
I must admit I’ve used it less than I thought I would.. I used to dump IDE with it a lot and thats about it. I haven’t used the higher-level protocols like SPI, but the thing seems really good for what I’ve used it for.

Have you found a way to write your own decoders for it? The only ones I could find thus far is I2C, SPI, and normal serial. I’d love to add MIDI or such.

        I haven’t needed to yet, I’m afraid..

Send it to me for a few months? ;)

Actually, I’m not using it at the mo, and probably would if we were in the same country.. as it is tho, it’ll probably turn out to be reasonably costly..

Yeah. :| Postage from the UK to the US is strangely not cheap.
