I have air conditioning again! And the installers seem to have done a pretty good job. Everything looks nice and orderly, and the price seemed pretty reasonable. Also, it’s amazingly quiet. Metered from 2′ from the front panel, about 1′ above the unit I was seeing 72dB on the meter.
It’s also becoming much cooler in my house. Yay!
Drool.
Central air sounds mighty good right about now. There’s a wall AC in our kitchen, and I’ve got a portable AC unit in the studio, but it’s just not the same.
