George Dickel

So, today I acquired a bottle of George Dickel for purposes of making irish coffee.

Well, I’ve made myself one, and I’m sipping it while doing dishes.

It’s quite good, especially for a cheap(er) whisky. It puts Jack Daniels (shudder) to shame.

Mmm. This is great for American whisky. And if only used in irish coffee, it will go a long way.

LOL…George Dickel makes me think about Mike, a deputy sheriff friend in NC. Good times. :)

    I’ve always liked George Dickel.

I first tried it after reading Dr. Excitement’s Elixer of Longevity which I pulled off a shelf at MSU’s library at random.

Bwaahaha! [shakes her fifth of Canada House] The cheapness of my whiskey makes you cringe, doesn’t it?! My boyfriend has been drinking Wild Turkey lately, and enjoys Crown Royal. I’ve never heard of George Dickel ~ where did you get it?

I can taste the difference between good and bad whiskey, but I don’t care much. I guess I’m just a cheap bastard ~ I do it with sake, too. Instead of getting delicious, Black & Gold Gekkeikan [$16], I buy regular Gekkeikan [$7]…

    1. I got it from Red Wagon, but one can even get it at Meijer.

I just… Hrm. I just like good booze.
