Mmm… Pummelo!
That’s part of my snack from tonight. Within 45 seconds of taking this image I grabbed this piece and popped it into my mouth. Mmm… It’s almost like a mild grapefruit.

That one has a bit more squick to it, and my pummelo wasn’t nearly as fleshy-colored. But I still like my photo….
Although I did screw up and leave the ISO at 400, resulting in a loss of a good bit of detail. Ah well. I still think it came out okay…

i love pummelo! i get them all the time..probably my favorite citrus
I was surprised how thick the skin was, but it was quite tasty! They are also huge. I was a bit hungry when I decided to eat it, and that hunger was more than quenched.

Thanks. :) It’s nifty, and it took a bit to get a handle on what one can do with it, but I have to admit that it’s worth it. :)
Definitely grab yourself one if you can…
Next I’m thinking that I want a macro lens which is better than my current one. Like… The Canon MP-E 65mm. Having seen some samples for it (almost every link here has some), I’m really, really tempted to drop money on a macro-type flash system and this lens.
