Car Pizza Oven

Yes, I know I’m posting a lot, but I had to add this. This has to be what is simply one of the worst ideas for car-based appliances. I think this is even worse than USB-powered fans and coffee warmers.

My grandpa has told me stories of how when they would drive to the UP to hunt in the 40s, they’d wrap a roast and veggies in foil, then nestle it somewhere against the engine block. With an engine reaching around ~200F and a number of hours of driving, part way to the destination the roast would be ready to eat.

I remember when this book came out: . Now I actually know of someone who used these techniques. Well, not directly, but through you! :)

Let’s build on this bad idea with other accessories for the car:

    -Saganaki Flamer OPA!
    -Waffle Iron
    -Cotton Candy Maker

    Next!

      How could I forget!

      -Fondue Pot

    2. YES! SAGANAKI! That’s the best one.

yannow how they make car horns that play songs? if you get the in-car saganaki doodad, you MUST get the horn that hollers OPA!

LOL! And when you factor in my brother’s Drunken Buddy Joel-stories, you realize that there is only one voice truly qualified to BE that horn.

How else do you expect to make pizza while camping? sheesh ;)
Actually funny you mention the usb powered coffee warmer, I have 2 co workers who are in love with theirs. lol

The worst one I ever saw as some years ago, reported in some tech magazine, apparently at some Japanese trade show – a combined TV and radar speed trap detector for in the car.

    Genius.

  7. but that would actually be perfect for my sailboat…

I shall confess. I first saw it and thought ‘ooh, that’s ace!’

I have a USB coffee warmer, I use it in my PC[of crap] not the new one. it sucks, but it makes a nice coaster.
