Sidral Mundet
November 6, 2005
Sidral Mundet is one of the best beverages I’ve ever had. It’s a Mexican apple soda made with sugar and apple juice and a few other things. It’s absolute wonderful fizzyness in a bottle. I was able to purchase it at Meijer, so I have to recommend that you look for it next time you are there.
I also bought another Mexican beverage called Senorial which is a sangria-flavored soda. I haven’t tried it yet, though, and I’m not sure I want to before leaving. It’ll go flat. :\
UPDATE: I’ve tried the Sangria soda. It too is good. Quite good.
…just avoid the Mexican candies with high lead content. :)
yep. I’ve become addicted to the Mexican sodas, especially Jarrito’s Tamarindo flavour. pretty awesome stuff. they sell it all over by my house, of course.
Honeybee Market sells it by the 2 liter, I’ve recently discovered! I LOOOOOVE the Lime and Pinapple flavors. Must try tamarind soon.
BTW, if you haven’t gone to the Honeybee yet? MUST GO. *queue choir effect*
I see they’re in much bigger bottles at Meijer. I tend to get the smaller glass bottles around here. I’ve only seen Jarrito’s in bottles approaching 2 liter size.
At work I sell *cases* of those. We have a whole aisle devoted mostly to Mexican soft drinks, mineral water, etc.
I hafta get some Senorial. If only I could find that Penafinel over here…
