PC Needed

Can someone help me find a particular PC? I’m looking for an older machine, so long as the CPU is passively cooled. Yeah, I mean one of those giant heatsink things just hanging out there…
I also want to stick a dead quiet hard disk in there and finally have a silent firewall. Mine’s getting old and noisy.
i still have bertha sitting around, sans hard disk. if you can use her or any of her parts, they’re yours.
Hmm, thanks… That may be doable… I also need some parts to upgrade my arcade game…

If you can find any anywhere, look for the HP Vectra series boxes. I think they made them from Pentiums through low-end P4s. A friend was using his as a firewall for exactly the same reason, and then one ended up in my lap last month since a neighbour was getting rid of it – now I understand it makes a good firewall. The only thing you can hear on it is the HD, and you can’t even hear that when the cover’s on.
Ahh, yes! Exactly… Hmm… I’ll have to keep my eyes out. Right now I’ve got a tiny Gateway Pentium 200, but both the power supply and CPU fans are going, so they are noisy as hell.
