Cacti (rrdtool front end) is so much nicer than just MRTG. Now, I just need to understand it better and get it aggregating Apache, qmail, spamassassin, and some OS info…
interestingly, firefox gave me a cretificate expiration warning for nuxx.net when i went to my friends page for LJ. just thought i would let you know. not sure if thats something on my end or yours.
Thanks, but that’s actually expected… Well, the cert isn’t expired, you just don’t recognize the root ca that I use. See, I’m not about to pay GoDaddy or Verisign or whatnot $200 or so per year for a wildcard cert for *.nuxx.net, so I instead get one via CAcert.org. If you go here and import the PEM cert into Firefox, you won’t get that error on any of my https sites.
I would use a “real” CA, but until I’m somehow making a profit off of these sites, I’m not going to bother. (Note: Profitmaking is not any sort of a goal of mine.)

understood. i checked the box that allowed your site permanently anyway. figured i could trust your site :)
of course, i meant “certificate” not “cretificate”
