If everything goes according to plan, that will be >48 bottles of 11.3% belgian-style ale in about five or six months. Just in time for fall/winter.

i can’t wait to find out how it goes! i recently tried hoegaarden white and i love it– it’s very refreshing and it’s a fun beer, too. there aren’t many beers you can drink with an orange slice. (or are there?!)
Actually, you’d be surprised… Most hefeweizens (wheat beers) are served with a slice if lemon. Some bars skirt this and use orange, for some reason… Personally I like it without either, but that’s just me.
Hopefully it’ll be good. I’m not off to a good start. It looks like I got a bad tube of yeast. :(
well, no, i’m not surprised– my big brother and i have been attending wine tastings w/ our parents since i was 12 and we decided it’d be fun to learn ore about beer. until i tasted hoegaarden, i wasn’t impressed with our new hobby, but now i’m all over it!
sorry about the bad start. :(
ore = more!
Naw man… Belgians! German beer is good, but those wacky pseudo-French sure get it right.
