Lunch + Plumbing

Pad Namprik Pow
(Click for food photos…)

There’s my tasty lunch, an order of Pad Namprik Pow from Bangkok Cuisine Express in Clinton Township, MI. Unfortunately its consumption was interrupted by the guys from Roncelli & Sons Plumbing coming by to fix the leak in my basement. Hopefully that’ll be all set… The connector which was used by the plumbers can be seen here. I’m not sure what I think of it, but I can say that it’s not leaking… for now. I’ll keep an eye on it for a few days.

Thus far this has been a nicely productive day… Hopefully it’ll continue. Perhaps I’ll go work on the synth some more now and try to get the LCD displaying exactly as I desire.

Oh, I also bought red chili papads, and some random other ones. And some desserty things. Hopefully they will all be good.

perhaps it’s a short nipple with two compression joints on the copper pipe ends?

Naw, I asked. It’s not compression… It’s one of the push on, pull out fittings with synthetic plastic-like parts which fit inside and outside of each piece of copper. That said, it’s not leaking yet…

    Lunch + Plumbing

Words that do not belong in a sentence together. It simply doesn’t bode well. ;0)

      I had the same thought.

  3. Give Penn’s Thai Cafe a try some time. They’re south of 17 Rochester. Best Thai food outside of Thailand. :)

Is that the place in with Ashoka?

And have you ever been to Pi’s?

      1. Yeah… thats the place by Ashoka. Ashoka is really good if you’ve never been there. I don’t get vegetarian dishes too often, but there are some excellent Indian veggie dishes.

Never been to Pi’s. Where is it located?

        1. c0nsumer July 25, 2006

There is a Pi’s just north of 16 off of Dequinder in the same plaza as Meer Family Dining (or something similar), across the street from the Baskin Robbins. That’s the one where Pi himself works. They also have their original place which is in an old hamburger stand off of 10 1/2 and John R. Just says Pi’s Thai Cuisine on the roof. Great places…
