    Argh! It’s the “evil” USB cable. Your TV manufacturer got it so very very wrong by making the TV end need to be an “A” connector, it should be a “B” connector.

    Want to cause an interesting fizzy bang? Use that cable (which violates the USB specs, they have an entertaining section at http://www.usb.org about those wires) to connect two PCs together… If you’re lucky both machines will work it out and shut the power off. If not…

    I’m intrigued, what would plugging a USB memory drive into your TV do?
