Yay! My project boxes, line filters, PCB etching kit, and a few other things came in today. Now I can get to work on the final bits of putting my iPod in my car.

Not sure if you saw what I wrote in irc, but I tried out the CF thingy in my P233 MMX machine…
With the jumper in place, the top and bottom slots show up as separate devices. (this is very good)
With the jumper not in place, it doesn’t work right. (with two cards in place) — i think that both cards are responding as the slave device.
With one card in place (jumper side, i think?) you can make the card to be master or slave
So, basically, it’s as expected.
Oh, hmm. Sounds to me like they are just single card PCBs with a second slot glued on. Thanks for figuring it out. :)
I’m really glad we got these… Should be useful.
