USB 2.0 High Speed CF Reader

Does anyone here have a USB 2.0 Compact Flash reader which I could borrow / buy / have? I’m specifically looking for one that is extremely low profile, somewhat similar to this. I’ve found them on eBay from the UK, but I need one here. :\

Oh, I got one of the iPod photo adapters, and based on a test of 185MB of photos copying in just around seven minutes, I should be able to do a full gig in around 45. Well, that’s straight off the camera… I’d like to use just the reader and the iPod in order to save the batteries in the camera.

Thanks!

i dont mean to be a pest, but why not take the ipod photo adapter back and just get the belkin ipod card reader instead? its only $10 more and it reads CF cards at a decent speed.

    1. Hmm, that’s a good thought. The last I had checked that Belkin adapter was actually $80 or so… I should probably do that. Hmm.

yeah, thev’ve come down in price alot. before i take my next big trip i think i’m gonna do the same thing.

    2. Wait, the Belkin needs 4x AAA’s. :( I think I’d probably get more battery life out of the iPod Photo Adapter and a cheap CF reader. :\

yeah, that is a down side. then you’d have to carry another battery charger. it all depends as to weather you want to wait on the camera to download pics or if you want to carry around the extra charger. there always seems to be a trade off you’d be forced to make.
