it’s interesting what one finds in the woods. I found these today while Nick, Marty, Pete, and I were doing initial flagging for a mountain bike trail in River Bends Park. I think they’ll be cooked up in some very nice pasta and a cream sauce, or perhaps served over toast ala this meal in Brussels.

yum! Josh and I found 30 in our yard a few weeks ago! They were so good!
A little tip from the Adams family. Take any crumbs and or the bottoms that you cut off to throw away and sprinkle them in the area you found the morels in. We have a theory that this helps growth for next year. Also when hunting morels, use an orange bag to let the spores fall out as you are walking to help replenish for next year. Only one families thoughts!
Where abouts inside river bends…looked there all the time and can never find em
Jarett: These were found off of the mountain bike trail, right near where the second bridge is when following along via the normal route.
Thanks a lot! I did check back last year but nothing. Although I did find a killing at Bloomer park.
