Danielle’s Wisdom Teeth

Danielle had her wisdom teeth removed this morning and is currently in the living room napping. While all four wisdom teeth were impacted, three were removed intact, which impresses me. In particular I find the one on the right with the twisty root to be neat.

When they pulled my wisdom tooth out (under local anaesthetic) it fell apart and there was nothing worth keeping. I distinctly remember the dentist shoving a small sharp thing into the gum, pressing REALLY hard with it and going “ah..hmm…that was unexpected…oh” as bits of it went flying across the room :-)

Piku: I can’t imagine having them removed under simple local anesthesia. The trauma involved would be rather… bothersome, if I must say so. I’d rather be put under (as I was) and not remember the removal and have to deal with the recovery later.
