48 hours after pitching yeast into the Lazy Stout I arrived home to find that the krausen had blown out the airlock. This surprise me, as it’s not a high gravity beer and didn’t seem to be particularly thick. Looks like the yeast is definitely doing its job, though.
This is going to be ok? It looks like cocoa powder… fascinating as always. :)
I am just reading the new about your Grandpa. Sorry to hear your family has lost a very special member.
Ali: I’m pretty sure it will. As this is all stuff from the fermenter moving out nothing is contaminated, it’s just a bit more aggressive than I’d intended.
Also, thank you very much. He had a very good life, but it still is hard when things come to pass.
