I believe that the buffer in it is causing the x0xb0x not to work properly.\"><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d previously posted about how <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2008\/12\/23\/no-audio\/\">x0xb0x #888 was generating no audio after powerup<\/a>, and with <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2009\/01\/04\/roxie-go-home\/\">Roxie now gone<\/a> I had time to start digging into what was wrong.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d already known that the power supply, digital half (sequencer), DAC, and VCO were working fine, so I set to work tracing things back through the schematic from the headphone out. Eventually I found that I was able to see a waveform on the first half of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/files\/x0xb0x\/BA6110.pdf\">BA6110<\/a>, after the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Operational_amplifier\">op-amp<\/a> (pins 6 and 7) but before the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Buffer_amplifier\">buffer<\/a>. I didn&#8217;t see anything after the buffer (pin 8).<\/p>\n<p>So, I think I have a bad BA6110, which is one of the rare \/ hard to find parts in the x0xb0x.
