When I came home it attempted to start a backup then declared itself broken. I think Time Machine was in the middle of mounting its <a href=\"http:\/\/unisec.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/sparsebundle.html\">sparsebundle<\/a>, or something like that.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.macfixitforums.com\/showflat.php?Cat=&#038;Board=leopard&#038;Number=856797&#038;Forum=&#038;Words=&#038;Match=Entire%20Phrase&#038;Searchpage=0&#038;Limit=25&#038;Old=1week&#038;Main=855967&#038;Search=true\">This thread<\/a> suggests that DiskWarrior can be used to fix the problem.
