The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comcast.net\/help\/faq\/index.jsp?faq=SecurityMail_Policy18628\">Comcast page in the link above<\/a> directs users to <a href=\"http:\/\/service1.symantec.com\/SUPPORT\/ent-brightmailkb.nsf\/pfdocs\/2004120812474063?Open&#038;dtype=corp&#038;src=ent_hot&#038;seg=&#038;om=1&#038;om_out=prod\">Symantec<\/a> (yes, SYMANTEC) to report misidentified messages. It seems that Comcast now uses <a href=\"http:\/\/www.symantec.com\/Products\/enterprise?c=prodinfo&#038;refId=835\">Brightmail<\/a> for filtering.<\/p>\n<p>I ssh&#8217;d to DreamHost and manually sent a message to a Comcast address (you know, the old &#8216;telnet mailhost 25&#8217; thing) without problem. This was from <tt>jawbreaker.dreamhost.com<\/tt>, indicating that it&#8217;s not <tt>nuxx.net<\/tt> nor all of DreamHost which is blocked, just (at least one of) the MXs.<\/p>\n<p>I filled out a trouble ticket with DreamHost, because they are the ones who will need to resolve this.<\/p>\n<p>Hrm, I just tried to mail <lj user=replika>&#8216;s Comcast address and that worked.
