{"id":81,"date":"2008-06-21T08:35:55","date_gmt":"2008-06-21T12:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/?p=81"},"modified":"2008-06-21T08:48:10","modified_gmt":"2008-06-21T12:48:10","slug":"rain-rain-go-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2008\/06\/21\/rain-rain-go-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Rain, Rain, Go Away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_1710-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_1710-scaled.jpg\" height=427 width=640 border=0 alt=\"Rain on the morning of 21-June-2008, right when I'm supposed to be leaving for a bike ride.\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This morning I woke up at 7am sharp so that I could eat and get ready to meet up with <a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/replika\/profile\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/stat.livejournal.com\/img\/userinfo.gif\" alt=\"[info]\" width=\"17\" height=\"17\" border=\"0\" align=\"absmiddle\"\/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/users.livejournal.com\/replika\/\"><b>replika<\/b><\/a> and one of his former coworkers to go riding along 16 Mile \/ Metro Parkway at 9am. The weather was looking great, but just as I was about to leave a storm rolled in and everything started getting wet. There is currently a steady downpour and some light thunder and lightning.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully it won&#8217;t last too long and we can instead go at 9:30 or 10:00. As of right now it seems to cover the 16 Mile to M-59 area, and run from the lake all the way to a bit west of Pontiac.
