Apple PowerMac G5<\/a>. I want to build a stand for it… I’m curious what people think of this idea:<\/p>\n– 1\/2″ thick aluminum plate
\n– sized approximately 1\/2″ larger than the G5 on each side
\n– Wire brushed or sand blasted to apply texture to metal
\n– Lacquer or epoxy coated to prevent corrosion
\n– Thin piece of glass on top of Al block
\n– G5 setting on top of assembly
\n– Possibly casters, if I ever decide to put it all on the floor<\/p>\n
