I&#8217;ve been borrowing one for the past year or so but I wanted my own, so I looked around and ended up picking up this one, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nuplacorp.com\/product.php?id=200\">Nupla PA375-LESG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Made in the US and available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B004UMI72M\/\">from Amazon for ~$53<\/a> it seemed like a pretty reasonable purchase. I particularly like the <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_6837-scaled.jpg\">ribbed handle<\/a> which should make it feel a bit more solid when used with wet hands.<\/p>\n<p>I also added this photo to the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pulaski_(tool)\">Wikipedia Pulaski article<\/a> because it previously didn&#8217;t have a good photo of the tool&#8217;s head; just a man swinging the tool, with the head lost in shadows.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday evening UPS delivered my new Pulaski, a tool combining an axe and an adz, and commonly used in wilderness firefighting and trail construction.
