These are banana custard filled sponge cake and are excellent. Apparently these are one of the most popular souvenir gifts from Tokyo, and for good reason.<\/p>\n<p>I particularly like the English writing on the front of the package which reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><cite>People gather to TOKYO from here and there with memories of their home. And then, TOKYO gets everyone&#8217;s home town.
