The front is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wtb.com\/products\/wheels\/hubs\/laserdisclite\/\">WTB LaserDisc Lite<\/a> and the rear is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wtb.com\/products\/wheels\/hubs\/laserdiscsingleduty\/\">WTB LaserDisc Single Duty<\/a>. These will be rebuilt with butted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dtswiss.com\/\">DT Swiss<\/a> spokes and <a href=\"http:\/\/salsacycles.com\/components\/semi_29er_disc\/\">Salsa Semi 29&#8217;er Disc<\/a> rims.<\/p>\n<p>This will be my first full wheel build. About two years ago I <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2009\/04\/26\/wheelpro-truing-stand\/\">built a truing stand<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2009\/05\/02\/nipples-replaced\/\">replaced<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2009\/05\/02\/functional-safe-rear-wheel\/\">nipples<\/a> in the 26&#8243; wheels on my Specialized, and despite taking a while I seem to have gotten it right. The wheels have stayed true and I haven&#8217;t had any problems with them. This should be very similar, with only the addition of having to lace the wheels first. I still have to get my head around doing this properly, especially on disc brake wheels, but I hope (and expect) that it&#8217;ll work out pretty well.
