Good thing Titus publishes torque specs for all of these.\"><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Today while washing my <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/gallery\/v\/acquired_stuff\/titus_racer_x_29er\/\">Titus Racer X 29er<\/a> I found the rear drive-side <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=horst+link\">Horst link<\/a> screw loose. If this had come completely apart the bike would have gone very floppy, but not failed catastrophically.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully Titus publishes the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.titusti.com\/pdfs\/DOC-ASSY-TORQUES-RACERX.pdf\">Titus Racer X Torque Specs<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/files\/bicycle\/titus\/DOC-ASSY-TORQUES-RACERX.pdf\">mirror on nuxx.net<\/a>) so I was able to reset this screw and check the rest. Everything else was spot-on already, save for the top of the rear shock which I&#8217;d previously undone (to <a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2010\/03\/27\/new-crabon-fibre-breaks\/\">route brake lines<\/a>) and done by feel. That shock mount doesn&#8217;t matter much, though, as the bolt itself carries very little load.<\/p>\n<p>Now, time to figure out a place for today&#8217;s riding&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today while washing my Titus Racer X 29er I found the rear drive-side Horst link screw loose.
