{"id":17745,"date":"2014-01-12T02:01:34","date_gmt":"2014-01-12T07:01:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/?p=17745"},"modified":"2014-01-12T02:01:34","modified_gmt":"2014-01-12T07:01:34","slug":"back-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/blog\/2014\/01\/12\/back-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Back Roads&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/gallery\/v\/travel\/local_places\/biking\/DSCF0376.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Jered Michael and Wendi Willis as we rode the Flying Rhino Cycling Club's Back 40 ride.\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/nuxx.net\/gallery\/d\/104680-2\/DSCF0376.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Quite a while ago now, back when I was 17-18-whatever, not long after after graduating from High School, I spent a lot of time just driving around randomly with friends, listening to music, poking around random dirt roads and interesting areas doing little other than driving around and talking; essentially hanging out in a car.<\/p>\n<p>I now realize that many of these areas where we ended up are the northern Oakland County dirt roads where I&#8217;ve found myself riding bicycles with friends. I&#8217;m really happy with the way life has turned out and thus while I recognize that such days-gone-by were great, I don&#8217;t particularly want them back.
